The S7-1200 is the newest product offering from Siemens that integrates PLC programming, HMI development, and networking in one software package - Step 7 Basic. All user program documentation is stored in the CPU, so having an offline copy of the program is not necessary. More built-in hardware functionality within the CPU than any other Siemens micro PLC. Integrated Ethernet, Analog I/O, motion control I/O, PID tuning, and SD memory interface.
