What is an EandM classroom setup?
EandM wants you to have hands-on experience – we know that it’s
the best way for you to absorb new knowledge. Each
student always has his/her own computer networked to their own
practice industrial hardware so that you can practice as you
absorb.
How much will I actually learn?
EandM’s small classes focus on practical examples so that you can apply
useful concepts as you learn. A typical class consists of 50% lecture and 50% lab.
What should I wear?
Classroom attire is casual.
What is included?
All class software is loaded and ready when you walk in.
And you will get your own computer – no sharing! All books and supplies are provided for you to take home.
Also, continental breakfast is included
every day and a full lunch is provided on the first day. On the last day of class, you will get a signed
diploma plus a cool EandM gift!
Can I bring my own laptop
computer?
You can bring your own laptop computer. EandM cannot provide
software or licensing.

Are there any prerequisites?
Each
course description has recommended prerequisites. In general,
you should be familiar with using a mouse, Microsoft Windows

general Windows class before taking a programming class, please
contact

Custom Class.
Can I bring my own application to class?
You may bring your own application to reference and review during
the labs. However, you’ll only be able to review and discuss these applications on breaks or
after class.
I’m thinking about staying in a hotel during training. Do
you have any recommendations?
